Lawrence Glynn "Tootsie" Boswell

Ivie Funeral Home of Commerce, GA announces the passing of Mr. Lawrence Glynn “Tootsie” Boswell age 72 of Jefferson, GA, who passed away on Thursday, June 2nd, 2022.

Mr. Boswell was born on April 21st, 1950 in Commerce, GA to the late Perino and Ola Mae “Carol” Boswell. Mr. Boswell was a Tree Arborist and was retired from Asplundh Tree Expert Co. Mr. Boswell was of the Baptist Faith. Along with his parents, Mr. Boswell is preceded in death by his brothers John Boswell, Herman Boswell, and Norman Boswell, and sister, Martha Lewis

Survivors include wife, Debra Ann Pugh Boswell, daughters Lisa Boswell-Hosch (Perry), Christy Gordon (Kevin), Tabatha Bailey (Jimmy); Brother, Otis Boswell, and Sister, Joyce Wilson  Seven Grandchildren, and 10 Great-Grandchildren also survive.

The Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 12:00PM – 2:00PM at Ivie Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 2:00PM in the Ivie Funeral Home Chapel.
