Lonnie Dove, age 74 of Gainesville, GA passed away Friday, March 20, 2020.

Born on March 4, 1946 in Royston, GA, Mr. Dove was the son of the late John and Myrtie Shedd Dove. He was retired from Oliver Rubber Company, of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph Dove and James Dove; sisters, Lavinia Parham and Sally Stephens.

Survivors include a son, Brian Dove, Comer; daughters, Melanie Kidd and Terri Deal, both of Comer; brother, Lester Dove, Danielsville; sisters, Romelle Kittle, AL, Lavonia Hardman, Colbert, Carolyn Crider, Danielsville; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Allen Vickery and Rev. Rod Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Danielsville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
