Lonnie "Flip" Jewell Hambrick, age 72 of Athens, GA passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019.
Born on Sept. 6, 1946 in Gainesville, GA, he was the son of the late Floyd and Lillian Jones Hambrick. He was a retired US Army military sergeant with 4 purple hearts and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike & Denise McCoy, Colbert and Terry & Cheryl McCoy, FL.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
