Loyd T. (Tom Bill) Dove

Ivie Funeral Home, Madison County Chapel in Danielsville, announces memorial services for Loyd Thomas (Tom Bill) Dove of Danielsville who went to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning at the Brown Memorial Convalescent Center in Royston. Born in Franklin County, GA, he was the son of the late Phinize and Louvie Stephens Dove. He was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Survivors include his wife of the residence, Florine Graham Dove, daughters, Mary (Gary Hanley) Johnson of Danielsville, Barbara (April Artist) Dove of Danielsville, a son, Samuel (Lori) Dove of Lawrenceville, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mr. Dove worked at Candlestick Yarns in Royston for over 30 years and was a loving father, husband and friend. The body was cremated and memorial services are scheduled for Thursday at 2 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Danielsville located at 42 Booger Hill Road. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from noon until the time of service and at other times at the home of Mary Johnson located at 10416 Wild Cat Bridge Road in Danielsville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice Advantage in Athens in memory of Mr. Dove.
