Lydia Catlett Sailers

February 25, 1917 — November 21, 2011

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Lydia Catlett Sailers, 94, of Commerce who passed away on Monday at the Northridge Medical Center in Commerce. Mrs. Sailers was the daughter of the late Harvey and Eliza Catlett and was the widow of John Presley Sailers. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Way and a brother, Wallace Catlett. Survivors include a sister, Lillie Mae Waters of Commerce, a brother, Aldwyn Catlett of FL, a granndaughter, Mary Lynn Miller of Monticello and 2 great grandchildren, Mason Duncan and Lindsey Duncan. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday at 11 AM from Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 PM. Mrs. Sailers will lie in state at the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
