Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces graveside services for Margaret Lucille Nation, 85, of Maysville who passed away on Friday at the Hill Haven Nursing Home in Commerce. Born in Banks County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Earle and Ellen Davis Whitehead and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was also preceded in death by three children, Linda Allison, John Nation and Bill Nation. Survivors include children, Patsy Hudgins, Deborah Mason and Donald Nation, all of Maysville, Joyce Hovator of Mena, AR, Janice Lichliter of Anderson, SC, Jo Ann Lathan of Lugoff, SC, Dennis Nation and Ricky Nation, both of Commerce; 21 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildrn, nieces and nephews. Closed-casket graveside services and interment will be conducted on Saturday at 2 PM from the Banks County Memorial Gardens in Homer with Rev. William Campbell officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1-1:30 PM just prior to leaving for the service.
