Marion Mansfield

Ivie Funeral Home Madison County Chapel announces the death of Marion Mansfield 92 of Colbert, Ga. who died Friday Nov. 29, 2013. He was the son of the late David E. and Cleo Thaxton Mansfield and the husband of the late Mildred Russell Mansfield. He retired from Warner Robins where he was a Production Scheduler. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Survivors include 2 daughters Sandra ( Tom) Lapczynski of Colbert, Ga. and M. Shirley ( Gary) Nye of Spartanburg, S.C. 5 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Sunday at 2 PM from the Moon's Grove Baptist Church where the family will receive friends from 1 P.M. until the funeral hour. Graveside services will be at Resthaven Cemetery in Washington, Georgia at 3:30 P.M. Sunday.
