Mary Lois Middleton

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Mary Lois Middleton, age 73, of Commerce who passed away on Tuesday December 10th, 2013 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Hubert and Gracie Owensby. She is survived by her husband, Nathaniel Glass; brothers, Dillard Owensby and James Owensby; sisters, Helen Watts and Jane Gaines; grandchildren, Lee Cowart, Amber Hale, Michelle Lackey, Casey Vanderburg, Jessie Cowart, Jamie Hall, Travis Pursley and Gary Saxon; and 13 great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Aubrey Butch Cowart, Rodney Cowart and Nathan Cowart; daughter, Susie Pursley; and sister Ruth Payne. The family will receive friends Thursday December 12th, 2013 from 6 - 8 PM at the funeral home. Services are scheduled for Friday December 13th, 2013 at 2 PM at the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Grey Hill Cemetery. Rev. Toby Dyer will be officiating.
