Mary Sorrow Woods 102, widow of Maurice E. Woods died December 8, 2011 at Southern Pines Senior Care in Maysville, Ga. Mrs. Woods, formely of Atlanta, Ga. was retired from the United States Government. She was born September 11, 1909 in Carlton, Ga. to the late Thomas Harvey and Mary Steadman Sorrow. She is survived by stepdaughter Carolyn Middour and her husband Don of Decatur, Ga. , and stepdaughter Annette Braselton of Decatur. Step grandsons Stephen and David Middour, three step great grandsons, nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and great-great nieces, nephews. Graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Atlanta, Ga. on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 1 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Southwest Christian Care 7225 Lester Rd. Union City, Ga. 30291.
