Mavis Ellen Mcgee

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Mavis Ellen McGee, 76, of Maysville who died early Friday morning at Northridge Medical Ctr. in Commerce. Born in Alabama, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Unie Belle Smith Howard and was also preceded in death by her sons, Johnny L. McGee and Odis McGee. Survivors include children, Sondra McGee Romero of NC, Janice Lee Evans of Maysville, Rose Bibby Davidson of Maysville, Jesse E. McGee of Maysville; siblings, Robert Howard of FL, Merle Ranew of Vidalia, Franky Howard of FL; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 2 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Cemetery in Maysville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-9 PM and at other times at the residence located at 422 Panhandle Circle in Maysville.
