Merdelle Amanda Joyce

Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Merdelle Amanda Joyce, 89, of Ila who died on Wednesday evening at the Athens Regional Medical Center. Born in Commerce, she was the daughter of the late Edward Young and Lillie Richey McGinnis. Survivors include sons, Joe and Belinda Catlett of Ila and Ronald (Pete) and Gail Allen of Commerce; a sister, Annette Williams of Commerce; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. Graveside services and interment for Merdelle Amanda Joyce will be conducted on Saturday at 2 PM from the Grey Hill Cemetery in Commerce with Revs. Doug Duncan and Jeff Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8 PM.
