Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces a time of reflection for Michael Pitts, 65, of Commerce who died on Wednesday at BJC Medical Center. Born in Gadsden, AL, he was the son of the late H.W. and Lorene Campbell Pitts. He was also predeceased by 8 siblings. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Ronnie Robinson of Arkansas; grandsons, Nicholas Robinson, Nathan Robinson and James Shook; his partner of 28 years, Jo-Ann Short of Commerce; a step-daughter, Mary Jo Watson of Maysville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday at 11 AM for a time of reflection. However, no memorial service, as such, is scheduled.
