Molene Anderson

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Molene Anderson, 71, of Homer who passed away early Tuesday morning at her residence. Born in Jackson County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew W. and Sally Belle Epps Gary. Survivors include her children, Lynn and Lamar Ayers of Homer, Nancy Anderson of Hull, Phillip and Cheryl Anderson of Jefferson and David Anderson of Homer; siblings, Sally Wilson of Murrayville and Albert Gary of Cornelia; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews along with "special grandchildren, nieces and nephews". Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday at 1 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Childress officiating. Interment will follow in the Gordon Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a children's hospital of your choice.
