Myrtle P. Bray

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Myrtle P. Bray, 90, of Commerce who passed away at the Northridge Medical Center in Commerce on Sunday. Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late George and Dovie Hunsinger Patton and was the widow of Harvis O. Bray. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Jack Lance and Otis Lance. Survivors include sons, Telford Bray of Hoschton, William Lance of Jefferson, Oliver R. Bray of Danielsville and Buren (Peggy) Bray of Jefferson; siblings, J.P. Patton of Gainesville, Mary Seabolt and Evelyn Patterson, both of Dahlonega; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday at 2 PM from the Blacks Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in the Blacks Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM.
