Patricia Ann Greemon Leonard, a beloved homemaker and cherished community member, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025, in Baldwin, Georgia. Born on October 8, 1938, in Clarkesville, Georgia, Patricia lived a life rich in love, devotion, and family values.
Patricia’s greatest pride was her enduring marriage of 70 years to her husband, Thomas Hudson Leonard. Together, they nurtured a close-knit family that included their son, Wayne T. Leonard (Sonseirae); daughters, Kathy Lusk (Wayne) and Sandra Wilson (Tim); and son-in-law, Jack Norris. Her legacy will continue through her six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, who carry forward the love and lessons she instilled in them.
In addition to her immediate family, Patricia is survived by her sisters, Irene Carpenter and Linda Phillips, who fondly remember her warmth and strength.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Greemon; her mother, Minnie-Viola Chitwood Greemon; her daughter, Karen Norris; and her siblings, Jack Greemon and Chris Palmer and a grandson Christian Leonard. Their memories will be lovingly honored as Patricia’s family gathers to celebrate her remarkable life.
Due to inclemete whether the service arrangements have been changed to the following: A visitation will be held at Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce, GA, on January 24, 2025, from 11:00 AM to12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Patricia will be laid to rest at Grey Hill Cemetery in Commerce, GA, during the interment ceremony, the same day.
Patricia Ann Leonard will be remembered not only for her deep commitment to her family but also for the joy she brought into the lives of those who knew her. She leaves behind a rich legacy of love and devotion that will endure in the hearts of her family and friends.
