Paul Edward Pearson age 66 of 1114 Hwy 98 W., Danielsville passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014 after an extended illness.
He was born in Clarke Co., the son of the late Paul Dewey and Marguerite Lord Pearson, and was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Pearson. He was an Insulator with Guarantee Insulation Co. and was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam where he received two Purple Heart awards.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Perry Pearson of the home, 5 daughters, Melissa (Kevin) Terry, Mansfield, TX, Pamela Hedrick, Ft. Worth, TX, Jessica Pearson, Dallas TX, Penney Bryum, Lavonia, GA and Marcie Cape, Hartwell, GA; a son, Aaron Partain, Hartwell, GA; three sisters, Delores Cochran, Nicholson, GA, Patricia Medlin, Danielsville, GA and Peggy Bray, Jefferson, GA; and 11 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 am Monday, June 30, 2014 at Ivie Funeral Home, Madison County Chapel prior to the Memorial Service at 11 am with Valarie Booth officiating.
