Peggy Joann (Tolbert) Carroll

Peggy JoAnn Tolbert Carroll, age 79 of Commerce, GA passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023.

Born on June 17, 1944, Mrs. Carroll was the daughter of the late Jo Ed and Darcy Bonds Tolbert. She was the widow of Roy Lee Carroll and was a homemaker.

Survivors include sons, Cordis Daniel, James Daniel, John Daniel, Danny Daniel; sister, Faye Kirk; brother, Buddy Tolbert, Buck Tolbert; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Friday, Sept. 22, 2023 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023 at 12 pm until the funeral hour Friday, Sept. 22, 2023 at the funeral home.
