Ralph Thomas Spears age 83 of Maysville passed away Saturday Sept.30, 2017 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Mr. Spears was born on July 14, 1934 in Jefferson County, Alabama to the late John & Bertha Wells Spears. He was retired in 1999 from Flexible Metal Hose Company in Tucker where he worked as a welder. He was preceded in death by his sons, Thomas Anthony Spears & Ted Andrew Spears brothers, Arlon Spears & Willis Argo.
Survivors include, wife of 61 years, Mildred D. Spears of Maysville, daughters, Sherry Lynn Conwell of Commerce, Shelley Gwen Bunn of Lula, Rebecca Ann Meeks of Homer, brother, Raymond Earl Spears of Social Circle, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon Monday Oct. 2, 2017 at the Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11am until service time Monday at the funeral home.
