Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Rebecca Michelle Hughes, 39, of Homer who passed away on Thursday at the NE GA Medical Center in Gainesville. Born in Stephens County, she was the daughter of Debbie May Chastain (David) Jones of Homer and John Michael Ferguson of Rabun County. Other survivors include her fiance', Randy Hughes of Homer and her children, Kelsey Hughes, Jacob Hughes and Jonathan Warwick, all of Homer. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday at 4 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Smith and Rev. Travis Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6-9 PM.
