Richard Edward Gilliam

Ivie Funeral Home announces the death of Richard Edward Gilliam, 54, of Canon who passed away on Sunday at the Ty Cobb Regional Medical Center in Lavonia. Born in Oconee, SC, he was the son of the late Richard Gilliam and the late Mary E. Robbison McCall and was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Gilliam and 2 brothers, Terry Eugene and Randall Dale Gilliam. Survivors include a special friend, Betty Dove of Canon, a son, Gabe Bryson of Walhala, SC, brothers, James Ray (Angie) Gilliam of Commerce and Ronald (LaDonna) Holbrooks of Toccoa, sisters, Gail (Roger) Alewine of Bowersville and Kathy Callaway of Washington and two grandchildren. Mr. Gilliam was cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
