Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces memorial services for Rita Jo Howington Chreiman, 62, of Commerce who passed away on Tuesday at he residence. Born in Ashville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Verner and Elizabeth Standridge Howington. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Gary. Survivors include her husband of the residence, Von Carl Chreiman; a daughter, Carmen Gary of Commerce; a granddaughter, Christie (Chris) Thomas of Jefferson; a great granddaughter, Amberly Thomas. Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday at 11 AM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce with Rev. Donald Wilson officiating. Interment (cremains) will follow in the Cabin Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the service.
