Robert Lloyd Evans

Robert Lloyd Evans, a beloved husband, brother, and dedicated maintenance worker, passed away on January 12, 2025, in Homer, Georgia. He was born on July 18, 1948, in Commerce, Georgia, to the late Jowel Dowell and Gwynola B. Wheeler Evans.

Robert proudly served his country as an Army veteran, a testament to his commitment and dedication. After completing his military service, he embarked on a career as a maintenance worker with Georgia Mechanical, where he was respected for his hard work and reliability.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Virginia Nemeth Evans, and his brothers, Howell Dillon and Billy Evans. Their bonds of family will continue to carry forward the legacy of his kindness and strength.
