Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Ronnie "Lootsy" Cowart, age 64, of Hull who passed away on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2014. He was the son of Ralph Cowart and the late Hester Willis Cowart. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Rice Cowart of the home; sons, Scott Rice of Commerce and Darrel Cowart of Ila; daughter, Tanya Cowart of Watkinsville; brothers, Mike Willis of Homer and Robbie Willis of Jefferson; sisters, Pam Morgan of Greensboro, Judy Willis and Jill Willis, both of Commerce; and nine grandchildren. In addition to his mother he was also preceded in death by a sister, Vickie Rutter.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday April 24th, 2014 from 6 PM until 8 PM. Services will be held in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home on Friday April 25th, 2014 at 1 PM with Rev. Henry Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in Howington Cemetery.
