Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Rufus Beck, 93, of Commerce who died on Sunday at BJC Hospital in Commerce. Born in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Flanagan Beck and was the widower of Audrey Turner Beck. He was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Beck and a daughter, Betty Jean Beck. Survivors include three sisters, Vernell Evans of Commerce, Eddie Pearl Wiley and Sarah Covington, both of Carnesville. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 2 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Webb officiating. Interment will follow in the Apple Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 PM.
