Ruth P. Bingham

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Mrs. Ruth P. Bingham, 88, of Maysville who passed away at her residence early Friday morning. Born in Otto, NC, she was the daughter of the late Howell and Cora Ledford Parr and was the widow of Fred Joel Bingham. Survivors include children, Gretchen Gibson, Carol Patrick and Rev. Winfred Bingham, all of Maysville; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Bingham will be conducted on Sunday at 3 PM from the Lighthouse Congregational Holiness Church with Revs. Sherry Lewis, Clarence Reynolds and Charles Mickler officiating. Interment will follow in the Bingham Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6-9 PM and at other times at the residence of Carol Patrick located at 536 Bingham Rd. in Maysville. Mrs. Bingham will lie in state at the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
