Ruth Savage Scroggs

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces visitation and graveside services for Mrs. Ruth Savage Scroggs, 91, of Maysville who passed away on Friday at BJC Hospital. Born in Maysville, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Lillie Mae Truelove Savage and was the widow of Thomas Lee Scroggs. She was also preceded in death by daughters, Hazel Hamilton and Brenda Howard. Survivors include a son, James T. (Jim) Scroggs of Maysville and Shirley Elaine Crane of Thomasville, NC; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Graveside services and interment will be conducted on Monday at 11 AM from the Holly Hill Memorial Cemetery located at 401 W. Holly Hill Rd. in Thomasville, NC, 27360, with Rev. Stanley Savage officiating. The family will receive friends at Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce on Saturday evening from 5-8 PM.
