Scott Jon Sweeney

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Scott Jon Sweeney, 39, of Commerce who died early Sunday morning at Northridge Medical Center. Mr. Sweeney was a veteran having served 12 years in the U.S. Army. Born in Concord, NH, he was the son of Ray and Sandra Taillon and was married to Susan Petty Sweeney of the residence. Other survivors include sons, Thomas, Cole and Kenneth Sweeney, all of Commerce; sister, Teri Duffett of Commerce; step-sister, Marlena Buzzell of NH; step-brothers, Paul Taillon of NH and James Taillon of Wadley, GA. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 2 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce with interment following in the Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5-8 PM.
