Scotty Daves

Mr. L. Scotty Daves 57 years old of Ila, Georgia passed away on Friday December 4, 2020.

Mr. Daves born in Commerce, Georgia on November 11, 1963, was the son of the late Grady and Ruth Daniel Daves. He is preceded in death by Larry Daves.

Mr. Daves operated heavy equipment for Gunnells Construction for many years. He was also employed by Athens Clark County for 6 years. In recent years after health problems he worked helped many in the community. He was always there to help everyone.

Survivors include, Ricky Daniels, Dennis Lackey, Jerry Campbell and J.W. Campbell and various other cousins.

A memorial service will be held at Ivie Funeral Home Commerce on Saturday December 12, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Larry Dyer and Rev. Jerome Howell will officiate the service.  A time of visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of the service on the same day.
