Sheila Marie Ward David

Sheila Marie Ward David, lovingly remembered by her family and friends, was born on February 5, 1955, in Warner Robins, Georgia. After a fulfilling life dedicated to both her work and family, Sheila passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025, at The Oaks in Athens, Georgia, surrounded by her loving family.

Sheila enjoyed a successful career spanning many years in retail sales, with notable positions at Corning Ware, Walmart, and Rack Room. Her dedication and commitment to her profession were evident to all who worked alongside her.

A devoted member of the Beaver Dam Baptist Church, Sheila cherished her faith and actively participated in her community, which provided her with great joy and a sense of belonging.

Sheila is survived by her beloved sons, John (Heather) David and Andy (Christi) David, as well as five adoring grandchildren who brought her immense pride and happiness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maxwell and Gwendolyn Brown Ward, who undoubtedly influenced her strong character and nurturing spirit.

In remembrance of Sheila Marie Ward David, those who had the pleasure of knowing her will remember her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and steadfastness that will be cherished forever.

A direct cremation will take place according to the families wishes and donations to help with final expenses to Ivie Funeral Home are requested in lieu of flowers.
