Shirley Ann Sanders, age 78, of Commerce passed away on April 26th, 2015. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, George T. Sanders, her children, George "Buddy" Sanders of Commerce, Vickie Sanders of Commerce, David (Judy) Sanders of Jefferson, Joey (Mary Ann) Sanders of Flowery Branch, Darlene Sanders of Commerce, Faye (Vernon) Pearson of Covington, Ray Sanders of Jefferson, Tammy (Gene) Williams of Indiana, and Mark (Christy) Sanders of Commerce; 29 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on April 28th, 2015 from 5 pm until 9 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 29th, 2015 at 2 pm at Cave Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Elrod and Rev. Bo Whisnant officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
