Sylvia Jean Whitlock

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces the death of Mrs. Sylvia Jean Whitlock, 72, of Commerce who passed away on Saturday at the Northridge Medical Center in Commerce. Born in Commerce, she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Merline Wilson Jordan and was the widow of Benson Whitlock. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Keith Whitlock and Robert Whitlock and a sister, Lucy Wilson. Survivors include her children, Donna Kay Whitlock of Hull and William Dean Whitlock of Commerce; siblings, Patsy Adams of Hull, Alton Jordan of Covington and Charles Jordan of Commerce; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. There are no memorial services scheduled for Mrs. Whitlock at this time.
