Thomas Douglas Baird

Thomas Douglas Baird, Sr., age 76 of Lavonia, GA passed away Sunday Sept. 27, 2015.
Mr. Baird was the son of the late Fred and Mary Gregory Baird, and is preceded in death by his wife, Delores Smith Baird and daughter, Deverie McElreath.
Survivors include a son, Thomas D. Baird, Jr., Lavonia; 2 daughters, Dawn Chandler, Demorest, Danyelle Shropshire, Clarkesville, GA; a brother, Gene Baird, Clarkesville, TN; 20 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held 3 pm Wednesday Sept. 30, 2015 at Ivie Funeral Home Commerce Chapel. Visitation will be held from 1-3 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of the arrangements.
