Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Thomas Redmon, age 80, of Homer who passed away on Monday September 15th, 2014. He was the son of the late John and Lillie (Robinson) Redmon. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandchild. Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Ruth Baker Redmon; sons, Randy Redmon of Simpsonville, SC, Johnny Redmon of Danielsville; daughters, Sandra Roberts of Homer, Kay Webb of Carlton; five stepchildren, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and a number of step grandchildren.
Services will be held on Wednesday September 17th, 2014 at 1 PM in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Donny McAlister officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday September 16th, 2014 from 5 PM until 9 PM. Interment will follow the service in Grey Hill Cemetery.
