Thurston Cowboy Turpin

Thurston (Cowboy) Turpin passed away Saturday Oct. 6, 2022.  He was the son of the late Homer and Woodie Fuller Turpin.  Mr. Turpin retied from Fieldale.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife  Carlene Bales Turpin of  the home, sons Micheal Turpin, Matthew ( Stephanie) Turpin, daughter Michelle ( Bill) Turpin.  One brother L.T. Turpin and 2 sisters Reba Turpin and Marie Maddox, 6 grandchildren Courtney (Justin) Canup, Hunter (Leslie) Turpin, Holden( Cheyenne) Turpin,  Hannah, Nathan, Carla and 2 Great Grandchildren Nova Turpin and Waylon Turpin, 6 Step Grandchildren Morgan, Caitlin, J.W., Kayson, Walker and Kinley

Funeral Services will be Wednesday Morning at 11 AM from the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Smith officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
