William Arnold Chesser

Ivie Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. William Arnold Chesser age 78 of Homer who passed away at his residence on June 12, 2019.
Mr. Chesser was the son of the late L.J. and Myrtle Griffin Chesser. He was retired from CSX railroad based in Jacksonville, FL and was an Army veteran. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a daughter, Debbie Blalock.
Mr. Chesser is survived by his wife, Johnnie Robertson Chesser of the home; son, Travis Davis of Homer; daughter, Teresa Longabach of Ft. White, FL; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren also survive.
Services for Mr. Chesser will be on Sat. June 15, 2019 at 2PM from the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, June 14, 2019 from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
