William "Billy" Samuel Hunter

William "Billy" Samuel Hunter, born on January 21, 1960, in Commerce, Georgia, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2024, in Athens, Georgia. He was a devoted husband, son, and father who brought joy to all who knew him.

William dedicated much of his career as an office maintenance manager with Wayne Poultry, where he was known for his strong work ethic and caring nature. Throughout his life, he exemplified commitment to both his profession and his family, nurturing relationships that would leave a lasting impact on those around him.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Donna (Missy) Patton Hunter. William will be profoundly missed by her and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

William was preceded in death by his father, Seth Hunter, his mother, Mary Hutchins Hunter, and his son, Wesley Hunter. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who loved them and those who cherish the time spent with them.

A cremation service will be held at a later date.

His spirit will endure in the loving memories cherished by his spouse and in the hearts of countless friends and family members who are left to carry forward the kindness and warmth he shared throughout his life.
