William "Tommy" Latta

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces the death of William Thomas "Tommy" Latta, age 72, of Griffin who passed away on Wednesday July 2nd, 2014.Mr. Latta served 6 years in the United States Navy during 1959-1965. Mr. Latta was the son of the late Charles Hammond Latta II and the late Joyce Campbell Latta. Survivors include his sisters, Barbara Swaim of Danielsville and Mary Anne Campbell of Savannah; brother, Joseph A. Latta of Griffin and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Hammond Latta III. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at 2PM at the Rocks Springs Church, 219 Rocks Springs Rd., Milner, Ga. 30257 with Pastor Benny Tate officiating.
