William "Bill" Lawrence Moody

William "Bill" Lawrence Moody, age 77 of Commerce, GA passed away Friday, March 03, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. Moody was the son of the late Charles Robert and Mary Crane Moody. He was the widower of Glenda Paulette Martin Moody, a self-employed tree surgeon and was preceded in death by a son, Mike Moody.
Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Moody, Commerce, Mitchell and Sue Moody, Nicholson; daughter, Lorie Moody, Commerce; four step-children; brothers, Clyde Moody, Cleveland, James Moody, Demorest, Clarence Moody, Clermont; sister, Lois Taylor, Demorest; 20 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Sunday, March 05, 2017 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Truman Humprey and Rev. Danny Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-8 pm Saturday, March 04, 2017 at the funeral home.
