Willie Richard Booth, a dedicated Truck Driver with Alewine Athens Auto Wrecking, passed away on June 30, 2024, in Commerce, GA. He was born on April 14, 1937, in Danielsville, GA. Willie was known for his hard work and commitment his profession.
Willie Richard Booth is survived by his loving spouse of 60 years, Lutrelle Kitchens Booth. He is also survived by his sons Billy Joe (Jackie) Booth, Donald Ray (Elizabeth) Booth, Scotty (Terrie) Booth, and daughters Jenny Dorsey, Susan (Edward) Booth, and Elizabeth Faye (David) Wright. Willie leaves behind 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren who will cherish his memory.
In the company of the departed Willie are his father Willie D. Booth, mother Addi Bridges Booth, son Tommy Booth, daughters Mytie L. Booth and Annie Lou Booth, as well as his son-in-law David Dorsey. Their memories will always be treasured.
Willie Richard Booth's dedication to his work and devotion to his family will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing he made a lasting impact on all those around him.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024 at 2:00PM in the Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Rising officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00PM until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Howington Cemetery.
