Anna Cooke Porter, age 56 of Commerce, GA passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at her residence.
Born in New Jersey, Mrs. Porter was the daughter of the late Phillip Randolph and Sue Tallant Cooke and the widow of Sonny Ray Porter. She was a senior computer analysis for Merial/Boehringer Ingelheim, of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Cooke.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jamison and Jessica Porter, Lula; daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Adam Watson, Commerce; brother, Alan Cooke, Commerce; sisters, Diane Vaughn, Homer, Phyllis Cooke, Commerce; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Shannon Rhodes and Mr. Adam Watson officiating. The family will receive friends 5-8 pm Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the funeral home.
