Billy Joe "Rooster" Chambers

Billy Joe Chambers (Rooster), age 70 of Nicholson, GA passed away on Monday, Feb. 6, 2023.

Born on Jan. 5, 1953, Mr. Chambers was the son of the late Henry Chambers and Annie Schubert Hastings. He was a millwright worker with RAI Industrial Construction and was preceded in death by brothers, Charles Chambers and Jimmy Chambers.

Rooster was a loving father and brother who will be missed by many.

Survivors include son, Bantam (Fiora) Chambers, Jessie Chambers; sisters, Tammy Chambers, Elaine Chambers, Teresa Chambers; brothers, William Chambers, and Milford Chambers.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Friday, Feb. 10, 2023 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 12 pm until the funeral hour Friday at the funeral home.
