Donnie G. Abbott age 64 of Alto (Banks County) passed away Saturday May 13, 2017 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Mr. Abbott was born November 6, 1952 to the late Luther & Lois Smith Abbott. He worked in home construction, a member of Gillsville Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by a son, Steven Abbott and brother, Larry Abbott.
He was survived by sons, Randall of Alto, Derrick of Mississippi, Brandon of Macon & Brian of Forsyth, brothers, Carl, Ronnie & Glenn all of Conyers, sisters, Thelma of Augusta, Peggy of Alabama, Mary of Conyers, Linda of Loganville & Jane of Utah,
9 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren also survive.
Memorial services will be 7:00 pm Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Gillsville Baptist Church with Pastor Shannon Rhodes officiating.
